Nepal is a country slightly larger than the state of Arkansas, squeezed between China and India. With eight of the world’s tallest mountains, including Mount Everest, Nepal is often described as a Shangri-La . . . a destination for mountain climbers across the world. But today, Nepal is so dangerous even aid organizations are pulling out, due to the internal unrest that has brought terrorism and violence to Nepal. Kul Gautam, deputy executive director at UNICEF, joins us to speak about the conflict.
